About the Rocks

Freewater Rocks Vineyard and A. Weis Farms are owned by Dana Dibble. He has worked on this land almost his entire life as a 3rd generation farmer.  In 2000, he got his start in viticulture with River Rock Vineyards. He still owns 4 acres of the original River Rocks property, which has become Freewater Rocks Vineyard, and it lies the famous 'The Rocks' district of the Walla Walla Valley AVA.

Dana has 20+ years of experience in viticulture and over 40 years in horticulture, and his grapes have been part of numerous high-scoring vintages.
